Do you remember when we thought love meant giving everything we had? Yeah, about that... What I do remember is learning this habit, seeing it, and inheriting it from the women before me. I became aware of it in the past few years, and it was life-changing. A change of mindset that should have happened earlier to save me from the pain of giving so much of myself while I could have lived a healthier life mentally.
